2023: Tinubu Ace Broadcaster Jirgi, into Campaign Council.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed ace broadcaster Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammmed Jirgi into Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.

This is contained in a letter signed by the Secretary APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Rt. Hon.James Abiodun Faleke and addressed to the new committee’s nominee on the 4th of November, 2023.

A veteran journalist and former Correspondent of the British Broadcasting Corporation,(BBC) London Ibrahim Mohammed Jirgi has been appointed as a member of the Media and Publicity committee for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.

The appointment letter whose part of it’s content reads “We are grateful that you have joined our campaign team. We know you will do your utmost in this new responsibility so we conduct an effective, message-driven campaign leading us to victory in the 2023 presidential election”

Ibrahim Mohammed Jirgi who is the Managing Director/CEO of Triple CEE Media Ltd, Abuja also served in the same capacity during the 2015 Buhari and Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Council which brought the present administration into power.

A former Editorial Staff of the old Daily Times Of Nigeria, from 1987 to 1996, is a fellow of the prestigious Institute of Management and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. He is also a senior Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and the Institute of Directors.

Hon. Ibrahim Jirgi also served the administration of Former Governor Bukar Abba Ibrahim of Yobe State as Special advisor Media and Public Affairs from 2002 -2007.

The veteran broadcaster hailed from Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe state North East, Nigeria.
