A delegation of customs officers from Niger present in Burkina Faso as part of the AES
A delegation from the General Directorate of Customs of Niger is on a mission to Burkina Faso as part of strengthening customs cooperation between the countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
The Niger customs delegation is led by Colonel Moustapha Balla, deputy director general of Niger customs. She was received in audience at the Burkinabe Ministry of Economy and Finance, according to information provided by the communications services of this ministry.
“This mission is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the customs administrations of the members of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).”

The Alliance of Sahel States, established in September 2023 between Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, is a new instrument of cooperation between its three countries which have decided to pool their energies and their strategies in order to face their common enemies and to defend the sovereignty and right to development of the Sahel.
