Al-Ansar Foundation Congratulates New Service Chiefs
The President and Founder Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa,mni congratulates the newly appointed Service Chiefs who were announced yesterday after the resignation of the immediate Service Chiefs.
This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Newsmen by the Senior Special Assistant to the President and Founder Dr Abubakar Muhammad Sani in Abuja on Wednesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR accepted the resignation of General Abayomi Olanishakin, Lt.General TY Buratai, Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibass and Air Vice Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar. The four Service Chiefs were appointed by President Buhari in 2015.
In his congratulatory message to the newly appointed Service Chiefs, Dr. Dikwa said “The newly appointed Service Chiefs should understand the gravity of the assignment given to them and the depth of the confidence the Commander in Chief has in them. Therefore they should try to do everything humanly possible to secure the life and property of Nigerians. “
Dr. Dikwa also made it clear in his message that the former Service Chiefs did their best to their fatherland and therefore are worthy of commendation. “Let me make it categorically clear that the immediate Service Chiefs had done their best and even though the country is still facing security challenges, I believe that posterity will be kind to them. Life goes on; another phase of their lives has just began and I am wishing them all the best in their post retirement endeavors,” said the President, Al- Ansar Foundation.
The newly appointed Service Chiefs are Major General LEO Irabor (Chief of Defence Staff), Major General Ibrahim Attahiru ( Chief of Army Staff), Rear Admiral Auwal Gambo ( Chief of Naval Staff) and Air Vice Marshal Amao Oladayo ( Chief of Air Staff).
