All is set for groundbreaking of first private University in Borno State
The president and founder of Al-Ansar foundation, Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa disclosed this while speaking during an inspection visit to the permanent site of the university along Gubio-Damasak road.
He said that Al-Ansar Foundation is a not for-profit organization founded in the year 2001 in Maiduguri Borno State which focuses on helping the less privileged communities in the areas of western and Islamic education, public healthcare, human capital developments, and religious tolerance.
“The Foundation has Al-Ansar Academy from Nursery to Secondary Schools, Radio/TV, Al-Ansar Women and Children Hospital, and Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education.

Dr Dikwa visited the site on which was stituated along Gubio-Damasak route 5km away from the city capital, Maiduguri on Sunday, January 2nd 2021.
The visit was part of the arrangements for the official groundbreaking ceremony of the institution’s permanent site which is scheduled to take place on Monday 4th January 2021.
The Borno state Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum is billed to be the special guest of honour at the commissioning ceremony.
