The President and Founder, Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa have expressed joy over the appointment of His Royal Highness, Abba Jato Umar as the new Shehu of Dikwa, describing it as well deserved.
In a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President of the foundation on Media, Dr Abubakar Mohammed Sani said, the President received the appointment with joy and give thanks to the will of God who gives power to whomever He wills.
It added that the announcement of the new Shehu of Dikwa was signed into law on the 30th January 2021 by Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum.
The statement also noted that the new paramount ruler of Dikwa Emirate Council enjoyed the backing of an order known as the First Class Shehu of Dikwa Appointment Order 2021 of Borno State.
Dr Dikwa wished the new Shehu of Dikwa Allah’s Rahma and guidance as he mounts the throne of his forefathers and also prayed to Allah that Dikwa town and Emirate Council would witness peace under the reign of the new ruler.
It further explained that as a subject of the Emirate, Dr Muhammed Kyari Dikwa restated his loyalty and support to the new ruler and the Emirate Council.
“As i obeyed and supported the reign and authority of the deceased king, I will also accord the same respect and loyalty to the new king.
“I want to also make it categorically clear that I shall try to be a worthy ambassador of Dikwa Emirate Council,” said the President, Al- Ansar Foundation.
