Atiku visits late Mama Taraba’s family, describes her as loyal political associate
Former vice president and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, (Wazirin Adamawa) has visited the family of late Senator Aisha Al- Hassan in Abuja.
Mr Atiku was received at the residence of the late Senator Jummai’s by her younger brother Ibrahim Abubakar.
The former vice president and Wazirin Adamawa consoled with the family of the late Senator and prayed to Allah to grant her aljanna.
“Her demise was a huge loss. I stand by her family as they grieve. I pray the Noor of Almighty Allah shines on her face,” said Mr. Atiku.
She is a strong and loyal political associate of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Mama Taraba contested the Taraba 2015 governorship election under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) but lost to incumbent Governor Darius Ishaku, who ran under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
After her loss, President Muhammadu Buhari named her Minister of Women Affairs.
However, she left under controversial circumstances as the APC failed to clear her for the 2019 gubernatorial election.
She had resigned her appointment and defected to the United Democratic Party (UDP).
Alhassan’s travails in the APC under the chairmanship of Adams Oshiomhole began when she endorsed ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2019 elections.
Her statement had caused a huge embarrassment to the APC leadership as a cabinet member was not expected to endorse Atiku who had not clinched the PDP presidential ticket at the time.
