Borno: Boundary committee, stakeholders meet ahead of interaction with Commission

In preparation for the Borno State Border Communities Stakeholders interactive session with the National Boundary Commission today, the committee under the leadership of the Deputy Governor of Borno State, Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur, met in the council chamber of the deputy Governor yesterday.
The meeting was chaired by the Hon. Commissioner of Intergovernmental Affairs and Special Duties and the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Engr. Mohammed Ahmed Kabir Wanori FNSE.
The meeting for the preparation was attended by the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry for Local Government and Emirate Affairs, Hon. Sugun Mai Meleh, the representatives of the Shehu of Borno, Dikwa and Bama, and Emir of Gwoza, the chairmen of the 10 Border Local Governments and districts.

About 10 resolutions were made to be presented by each representative today on the occasion.
