Breaking: Boko Haram kidnaps soldier, FAAN employees, Govt House staff

Maiduguri- Damaturu road has become a death trap where both civilians and soldiers were regularly attacked and killed by the insurgents.

Members of the Boko Haram terrorists group have kidnapped an individual they claim is a soldier, two employees of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN) and the Liaison Officer of the Yobe State Government House, Maiduguri. The dreaded terrorist group carried out the kidnap after they ambushed innocent travellers along Maiduguri- Damaturu road.

The precise location of the abduction was on the road linking the towns of (Mainok) and (Jakana) which is a few kilometres to Maiduguri the capital of Borno State. The terrorists were able to know the identity of the hostages from their employment identity cards.
