Covid-19: Children under 12 should not receive vaccine unless vulnerable – JVCI
Children under the aged of 12 should only have the Covid vaccine if they’re vulnerable or live with someone who is, a Government advisory body has recommended.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has decided against recommending that all five to 11-year-olds be offered the Covid vaccine, at this stage.

It has been said more guidance will be issued in due course for this age group once further data is available and more is known about the threat the Omicron variant poses.
