Gombe Governor Commiserates with Dr. Gana Over Mother’s Death
Gombe state Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with his former Commissioner for Health, Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Gana over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Hafsatu, who died on Sunday in Gombe at the age of 80.
Governor Yahaya who led senior government officials to attend the funeral prayer for the late octogenarian at the Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH) Gombe, described the death of Hajiya Hafsatu as deeply painful.
The governor in a statement issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli, the Director-General (DG) Press Affairs Government House Gombe, sympathized with the former commissioner, his siblings and other members of the bereaved family.
He urged them to take solace in the fact that their late matriarch lived an exemplary life characterized by devotion to Almighty Allah and left behind good legacy for her children.
Misilli said, the Governor prayed Almighty Allah to give her family the fortitude to bear the loss and grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.
