Gov. Ishaku condemn killing of Ardo Kola LG Boss, directs security agents to fish out perpetrators
Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku has condemned the murdered of Chairman of Ardo Kola LG council, Hon. Salihu Dovo by his abductors.
In a condolence message contained in a statement issued by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan Abu, Ishaku described the act as barbaric and wicked.
He assured that the perpetrators
would not be allowed to go scot-free, where he directed security agencies in the state to step up investigations to fish out the murderers, so that they could be made to face the music.
Governor Ishaku commiserated with the people of Ardo Kola Local Government Area of the state and members of the immediate family of Salihu Dovo, Chairman of the Local Government who was kidnapped and assassinated on Sunday.
He described the late Chairman as a good man, a man with an abiding love for service to humanity and who certainly did not deserve to die in the circumstances that he did.
According to the Governor, as Chairman of a Local Government he did a lot to make life much more meaningful for the people of his Local Government Area, the reason he enjoyed a lot of popularity among them.
Governor Ishaku, however explained that the death of Salihu Dovo has robbed Ardo Kola Local Government and the entire Taraba State of his invaluable services, and prayed God to give his family and the people of the local government the fortitude to bear the loss.
