MNJTF Force Commander Visits Frontline Troops, Charges Them to Clear Terrorists Remnants
In a show of solidarity and support for the troops engaged in Operation Lake Sanity 2, the Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, has visited frontline troops in Baga, Cross Kauwa, and Malam Fatori in Borno State, Nigeria on 14th May 2024.
During his operational visit, General Ali commended the troops for their dedication and commitment to eradicating terrorism in the region.

He expressed confidence in the collective capabilities of the forces and highlighted the notable decrease in the strength of Boko Haram, citing their reliance on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) as a sign of their weakened state.
In response to this threat, General Ali announced the implementation of strategic measures aimed at outmaneuvering the adversaries.
Addressing the troops, the Force Commander stressed the importance of remaining vigilant and cautious in the face of the evolving security situation. He reiterated his trust in the commanders and conveyed his high expectations for the success of Operation Lake Sanity 2.
The primary objective of General Ali’s visit was not only to assess the progress of the operation but also to uplift the morale of the troops on the front lines. He assured the troops of continued support and provision of necessary logistics to ensure the success of the operation.
