Drumming the presidential aspirations, yesterday (Friday), in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, NEYAW’s Coordinator/Publicity Secretary, Ishaku Yakubu disclosed: “We’ve witnessed hardships, poverty and unemployment across the country since 2015.”

He noted that the youth ambassadors are drawn from the grassroots of the region, comprising Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba, Adamawa and Yobe states.

Besides, he added: “We are ready to go into the nooks and crannies of the region to mobilize and canvass for youths’ votes at the presidential polls.”

He said that this was to ensure Wike becomes the PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.

Continuing, he said; “We ensure that Wike gets the highest votes needed from the Northeast to fly the PDP presidential candidacy.”

He said that the aspirant has a lion’s heart and is rugged to overcome the country’s security and economic challenges that lingered for over a decade.

According to him, Wike is the most fearless and rugged in overcoming the security and economic challenges of the country.

“As only God can salvage Nigeria, but Wike could be an instrument in restoring peace,” he said, adding this can enhance both economic growth and development in the geopolitical zones.

Yakubu, therefore, called on the people to rise up and support the right PDP presidential aspirant in next year’s elections.
