Senator Aleiro Empowers Over 6,000 Constituents with Life-Changing Tools in Kebbi Central
In a bold move to uplift thousands of residents and promote self-reliance, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aleiro, representing Kebbi Central Senatorial District, has distributed a wide range of empowerment materials to his constituents.
The distribution ceremony, held in Aleiro Local Government Area, witnessed the handover of 150 tricycles (Keke NAPEP), 114 motorcycles, 302 solar-powered deep freezers, 750 grinding machines, 500 solar water pumps, 800 sewing machines, and a staggering 3,400 bags of fertilisers to beneficiaries across the eight local governments in the district.
Senator Aleiro described the gesture as a demonstration of true democratic dividends and a strategic effort to tackle poverty and unemployment in Kebbi State.
“This initiative goes beyond my constituency. It is about touching lives and building sustainable livelihoods across the state,” Aleiro stated. He also highlighted several constituency projects executed under his leadership, including road construction, healthcare facilities, erosion control measures, educational support, and the establishment of skill acquisition centers.
Aleiro called on Governor Nasiru Idris to continue prioritizing critical federal road projects in the state. He assured the governor of legislative backing in ensuring the Federal Government reimburses such expenditures.
Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, who was present at the event, lauded Senator Aleiro’s commitment to his constituents, describing him as a true representative of the people.
“My administration has never and will never block any lawmaker from executing constituency projects. Whatever benefits Kebbi must be embraced fully,” the governor affirmed.
He urged all beneficiaries to resist the temptation of selling the items, stressing that they should instead use them productively to achieve self-sufficiency.
The large-scale empowerment scheme has been widely applauded as one of the most impactful interventions in recent times in Kebbi Central, with many describing it as a model for other political leaders to emulate.
