Nigerian author and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to the order given by the Nigerian President to shut down a secondary school in Abuja over a possible terrorist attack.
There are intelligence reports that there will be an attack in the FCT and the government of Nigeria has taken measures to curb the attack by shutting down some schools while others tightened security over rumours of an influx of bandits.

However, Shehu Sani has commended the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari saying that it’s the safest thing to do since our security agencies have shown an inability to protect Nigerians. He stated this via his official Twitter handle on 25th July 2022.
“The closure of the Federal Government College, Kwali Abuja is the safest thing to do in the face of the danger posed by terrorists and the inability of our security agencies to provide protection. Many private boarding schools in the FCT have also converted to day schools”, Sani wrote.
