Maikudi praised the Directorate of Army Public Relations for keeping Nigerians informed about military activities [1).
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration Professor Philip Afaha, representing Maikudi, commended NASPRI’s efforts to seek knowledge in E-PR, Media, and Information Operations. He emphasized that the military must stay ahead of criminal elements in media and information operations, as it is the country’s last line of defense.
The partnership will grant NASPRI access to the University’s Digital Library, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, and resource persons for research, workshops, and seminars. This collaboration will enhance the knowledge of officers and men from the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
Lt Col Ngulde explained that the visit was necessary following NASPRI’s relocation to its permanent site in Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment Giri Abuja on November 6, 2023. He sought to tap into the University’s wealth of knowledge and experience in Communication and Media Studies.
