Wembley FC Clinches Victory in the Inaugural Hasbil Care Foundation Cup: A Celebration of Sports and Unity
The Hasbil Care Foundation (HCF) recently hosted the first-ever Hasbil Care Foundation Cup, a dynamic football tournament that not only spotlighted local talent but also underscored the foundation’s dedication to encouraging an active lifestyle and strengthening community bonds.
Led by the visionary Dr. Muiz Bakare, the tournament brought together four spirited teams: Morning Stars, Wembley Football Club, Morning Planners, and Samaila Babes.
Under the expert coordination of Abdurrahman Mohammed and Ibrahim Aliyu, the event ran seamlessly, offering an engaging experience for both players and fans.
The lively atmosphere at the SMC Quarters Football Pitch in Kaduna served as an ideal setting, with enthusiastic crowds rallying behind their favourite teams throughout the competition.
Speaking on the foundation’s mission, Dr. Muiz Bakare, Chairman of HCF, highlighted the importance of the event: “The Hasbil Care Foundation is dedicated to promoting an active lifestyle, aligning with our Goal 3. The tournament reached its thrilling conclusion with Wembley Football Club emerging as champions after a tense penalty shootout against Samaila Babes, securing a 3-1 victory. The battle for third place saw Morning Planners triumph over Morning Stars in another dramatic shootout, also ending 3-1.
