Wikki Tourists triumph over mighty Jets with 3-1 victory in NNL Clash

The Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi secured an emphatic 3-1 win over Mighty Jets FC of Jos in a Nigeria National League (NNL) Matchday 12 fixture held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi.
Our reports that the win pushes Wikki Tourists to 20 points in the 2024–2025 NNL season on Wednesday.
Star of the match, Wanderson Babas, delivered a stunning performance by netting all three goals for Wikki Tourists.
He opened the scoring in the 10th minute, doubled the lead in the 40th minute, and completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute.
Mighty Jets managed a consolation goal in the 86th minute through Ironsi Nikson.
Reacting to the win, Wikki Tourists’ head coach, Abdullahi Maikaba, praised his players’ resilience and commitment.
“I am proud of the players’ zeal and determination. We worked hard for this victory.
The win has moved us up the table, and we hope to build on this momentum,” Maikaba said.
Garba Aliyu, coach of Mighty Jets, acknowledged his team’s shortcomings and pledged to bounce back.
“Football is about winning or losing. We lost today, but we know where we got it wrong. We’ll go back, restrategise, and come back stronger,” he said.
