Zulum approve release of 73million, 140 thousand naira for scholarship of CJTF, hunters orphans and 1, 878 admission form procurement

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved the release of 73million, 140 thousand naira for the payment of second year registration fee for orphans of late Civilian Joint task force (CJTF), hunters, volunteers And procurement of 1, 878 admission form for Borno State indigines into the college of Nursing and Midwifery Maiduguri
The Executive Secretary, Borno State Scholarship Board, Bala Isah who disclose this at a press conference yesterday said the gesture is part of the Governor’s show of concern and support to the family of those who lost their life in defending the good people of Borno State from the activities of insurgents.

Bala Isah said about 300 orphans are to benefit from the scholarship package while emphasizing that each is to get the sum of 200 thousand Naira.
He also noted that, the admission form procurement for applicants targets the 27 local government areas of the state while emphasizing that forms will be purchased for 20 applicants in Nursing and 20 in Midwifery Making a total of 40 form procurement for each of the 27 local government Areas.
According to him, the board thanked Governor Zulum for his all-time support and concern to the orphans and widows of the late volunteers
