It was gathered that Zulum studied at the polytechnic from 1986 to 1988 and bagged National Diploma (ND) in Agricultural Engineering.

He later returned to the polytechnic as a rector from 2011 to 2015.

The governor said he was shocked to see that the institution’s workshops and laboratories were no longer functioning.

It was learned that most of the labs were out of use and some were infested by cobwebs and rodents due to neglect.
