Zulum urges minister to recruit fresh graduates as teacher in Wuyo
Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, has directed the ministry of education to, with immediate effect, recruit fresh graduates as teachers to a newly constructed government technical school in Wuyo, Bayo Local Government Area, to fast track the commencement of academic activities.
However it was discovered that, the Governor provided three hundred bicycles for the students that will be enrolled in the technical school as a way of addressing transportation challenges for the students within the neighbouring communities. This, according to Zulum will not only encourage enrollment but will also motivate the students in learning.

At the commissioning of the mega technical school, the governor also announced a free feeding program for students of the school, the first of its kind in the state.
The governor said, “We are here to commission the Government Technical School, Wuya, in furtherance of my administration to establish an educational system that will create wealth thereby ensuring the provision of jobs to the teeming youths of our dear State.
“Notwithstanding some of the shortcomings on the ground, I am here to commission this school. I have directed the commissioner of education to provide all necessary luxuries and workshops that will allow smooth take-off of the technical school.

“We shall recruit competent young graduates to provide the best technical knowledge to the children of Bayo LGA so that they can have the best technical know-how.”
Zulum stated further that government will provide all necessary facilities that will enhance quality and conducive learning environment.
