2023 Presidency: Campaign team markets former Senate President’s credentials to Gombe PDP
The Campaign and Advocacy Council of one of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential aspirants and former President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday stormed Gombe State to canvass support for Saraki’s presidential bid.

The Chairman of the Advocacy Team, Prof Iyorwuese Hagher told newsmen at a press conference in Gombe that Saraki was better and more qualified than other aspirants in the PDP.
Hagher said that Saraki had the experience, educational background, vision and mission to make Nigeria great.
He stated that the country was in a critical time and needed a leader like Saraki whom he described as a unifying factor and a solution to Nigeria’s challenges.
He stated further that Saraki remained the best leader that fits the leadership frame needed by Nigerians in view of the fact that he “is available, identifiable, highly educated, young and robust.”
Hagher called on the PDP to consider Bukola Saraki to fly the party ticket in the 2023 general elections, adding that he remained the leader that will meet the aspirations of Nigerians.
“Amongst all the people that are contesting, only Bukola Saraki qualifies to be Nigeria’s President because he is large-hearted, experienced, accommodating, has empathy, visi9n and mission to make Nigeria great.”
The chairman stated that their visit to Gombe was to consult with stakeholders, dialogue and feel the pulse of the people ahead of Saraki’s declaration.
He advised the PDP to bring forth their best candidate to the office of the presidency for the 2023 general elections.
“I hope the PDP will make the right choice,” he added.”
Hagher advised the PDP to be better prepared to take over power in 2023 and begin to rebuild Nigeria and make the country great.
