Adamawa IPMAN urges public to report sale of adulterated petrol
The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Adamawa and Taraba chapter, has urged motorists not to panic and report any sale of suspicious adulterated petrol for immediate action.
The state IPMAN Chairman, Alhaji Dahiru Buba, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Yola on Friday.
Buba said that so far nobody had reported the sale of the adulterated products in the state.
According to him, the association has inspected all the supplies and confirmed that there is no adulterated product in the depot.
“As of Thursday, Feb. 10, we inspected the supplies in our depot and confirmed all the products are of good quality.
“We, therefore, call on the public to report any filling station that sells adulterated petroleum product for us to take immediate action,” he said.
The chairman noted that the issue of adulterated petrol had also led to a scarcity of the product.
He gave the assurance that the association would do its best to ensure a regular supply of quality products. (NAN)
