Bauchi First Lady Hajiya Aishatu loses mother at 75
Bauchi State First Lady, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Mohammed has lost her mother, late Hajiya Fatimah Aliyu Usman.
The late Hajiya Fatimah Aliyu Usman popularly known as Hajiya Dadda who died in the early hours of Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Bauchi after a protracted illness.
Late Fatimah Aliyu who died at the age of 75 survived by the Bauchi State First Lady, Hajiya Aishatu (Lami) Bala Mohammed and other children.
Her funeral prayers was conducted same day at the palace of the Emir of Bauchi Alh ( Dr.) Rulwanu Suleman Adamu according to Islamic injunction after which she was interred at the Bauchi Muslim cemetery.
Amongst her other children are, Alhaji Danjuma Aliyu (Dan-Amar of Alkakeri ), Alhaji Umar Aliyu Shayi (Danmajen Alkaleri ) who is the SSA, Security matters to the Bauchi Governor and Alhaji Nasiru Aliyu Barde.
She was described as a pillar of support to the family and a caring mother who ensured that her children were properly brought up in spite of their royal background as contained in a statement by Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser, Media and publicity to the Governor of Bauchi State.
