CP Christopher assumes duty in Yobe

The Yobe State new Police Commissioner, Emmanuel Ado Christopher, has assumed duty to protect people’s lives and property in the state.
According to the Command, the CP’s assumption to duty was to enhance security and well-being of residents in the state.
Announcing the assumption of duty, on Thursday, in Damaturu, Spokesman of Command, SP Dungus Abdulkarim stated, “As the 33rd Commissioner of Police in the state, and since the command’s establishment, CP Christopher is committed to serving the people.
He added that he would ensure people’s safety and security across the state, including the border communities with Niger.
“His experience in community policing, law enforcement, tactics, investigation, and leadership strategies will be an invaluable asset in crimes prevention and management to secure the state.”
He said that Christopher is a seasoned law enforcement officer with three decades of experience to his new role in the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).
PPRO also attended various professional courses, workshops, seminars at the national and international levels, including the Israeli Institute, Academy for Advanced Security, Tel Aviv, Israel in 2008.
“Other positions held in the police, included ADC to the governor of Enugu state, 2iC Mopol 28, Umuahia, and pioneer commander, CTU Base 3, Port Harcourt.
The SP urged members of the public to cooperate with the new commissioner of police, as he is committed to enhance the security of lives and property.
