Gombe Guber Race: Mailantarki ‘ll engage youths if elected in 2023, says Kwankwaso
The Presidential Candidate under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Engr. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has reaffirmed his support for the candidature of Honourable Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki in his bid to become the next Governor of Gombe State in the forthcoming 2023 gubernatorial election.
Kwankwaso who is the National leader of the NNPP expressed optimism that Mailantarki’s reign as Governor of Gombe State if given the mandate would witness massive youth engagements across various walks of life.
This according to the NNPP Presidential candidate would bring about human and sustainable development that will lead to good standard of living among Gombe State citizens and environs.

Kwankwaso who gave the assertion at his Abuja residence over the weekend while addressing the Mailantarki Care FC contingent that won two major international Youth championships in Denmark and Norway recently, said youth empowerment was a major policy thrust of the party.
“I am not surprised seeing these huge successes here today knowing full well the Chairman of the club Hon Mailantarki is somebody I know very well with a lot of capacity, determination and commitment on whatever he decides to do.
“This shows clearly if he becomes the Governor of Gombe State, all the young men and women will be occupied.”
The ex-Kano State Governor was later presented with the two prestigious trophies before the club owner Hon Mailantarki decorated him with the winner’s medals as the colourful event rounded off with a photo session.
Mailantarki care FC has set a record of becoming the first team to win both Dana and Norway Cup after conquering the 2023 editions with unbeaten outings.
