ISWAP attacks commuters killed 6, injured 2 in Borno

The Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP), has killed at least six civilians in an ambush along Along Dikwa- Ngala road in the North East of Borno on Saturday.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert in the LakeChad that the victims were killed when the terrorists fired several shots at commuters on the road.
The sources said that two other civilians sustained bullet wounds when the terrorists who stormed the road on ten motorcycles fired at them.
“Afterward, they carjacked one commercial vehicle and set on fire four other vehicles two commercial vehicles, one empty truck, and one ferrying livestock,” said the sources.
The sources added that one other truck hit a road-planted Improvised Explosive Device(IED), while trying to turn back upon sighting the terrorists.
The terrorists fled the scene after sighting troops of the Nigerian Military.
