Plateau Local Polls, PDP Swept 17 Existing LGCs In Plateau state

The peoples Democratic party in plateau state has swept all the 17 local government councils in plateau state.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of the winners of the local government councils of plateau state, Governor Mutfwang charged them to be champions of development of the grass roots
Governor Caleb while addressing the crowd of people of the state who gathered at Langfield Leasure, promised to champion the cause of development at the grass root level on the Plateau.
According to him, he championed the local government Autonomy in the state saying Local Government Councils are the closest Goverment to the people at the grassroot level in the state.
He used the occasion to challenge the winners of the election to champion the cause of development at the local government level in the state
He also promised to ensure that the third tier of government is nearer to the people.
Speaking on behalf of the elected new Chairmen in the state,the chairman of Wase local government Hamisu Hanani said they all went out to canvass for votes, saying is is no more business as usual .
As announced by PLASIEC Chairman in the state Hon Plangji Daniel cishak. PDP worn all the 17 local government councils in Plateau state while APC came second as runners up in that order.
