President of Al-Ansar Foundation Inaugurates ACCE Board
The President and Founder of Al-Ansar Foundation Dr Muhammad Kyari Dikwa has inaugurated the Governing Board of Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education (ACCE).
Speaking during the inauguration, Dr Kyari Dikwa stated that setting the board is to provide strategic leadership and governance structure to further strengthen the school which started full academic operations about three years.
“These Governing Board Members were selected purely based on merits and commitment to the vision and mission of the Al-Ansar Foundation which is Service to Humanity. I wish to state that the Board is made up of experts from both Academia, Technocrats and other critical professions which we believe are individuals with proven track records, seasoned professionals with an enormous wealth of experiences and whose competencies, character and discipline are unquestionable and progressive.
His word, “We, therefore, appreciate your patriotism and esteemed presence to undertake this task despite your various commitments and crowded schedules. I must say that your answer to our call today signifies the belief and shared commitment not only to the Foundation’s vision and mission but also your willingness to lend support to the upliftment of Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education (ACCE), Abuja.
The Founder said that a leadership position is critical to the survival of any organization and as such comes with duties, obligations and responsibilities.
He added that “we are very optimistic that with your outstanding antecedences, you are not only expected to raise the banner and promote Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education Abuja but also to use your influence, contacts and goodwill to liaise with government agencies and officials, as well as other critical stakeholders especially parents and guardians to maintain the standard, patronize and populate the school so as to attain the desired goals and objectives.
“The Board Member, you should, however, note that any activity inimical to the goodwill and name of Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education (ACCE) and Al-Ansar Foundation should be avoided.
“I, therefore, charge the Board to know that you are expected to render an account of your stewardship to the Founder and President on a periodic basis and remind us of our vision of establishing this school, which I think would serve as a signpost, guide and shining beacon in the discharge of your mandate(s) and responsibilities. Our goals are to inspire excellence in all ramifications, to inculcate the fear of Allah (SWT) and good moral values in the students and pupils, to become a centre where knowledge and professionalism are upheld in the highest esteem. For the avoidance of doubt, the following notable terms of reference are emphasized for the Board’s attention and the Board shall be responsible for policy formulations, supervising, monitoring and evaluating the activities of ACCE.
He said with the Governing Board the ACCE would take a new shape both in structure and administration, adding that the constitution of the Board will no doubt strengthen the management of ACCE to double its efforts in taking the school enviable heights.
“Our expectation is that the board will initiate policies, projects and programmes that will be beneficial to both students and pupils in their quest to attain their educational goals and aspirations. Furthermore, parents and guardians are expected to have confidence in our school management system as a result of the strategic leadership the Board and Management would render going forward.
Dr Dikwa also urged the Board Members Board to liaise with governments at all levels and other relevant stakeholders in moving the school forward.
