RIFAN applauds Governor Gombe for allowing the RIFAN project to thrive.
Dr Abubakar Muhammad Sani, Special Project Coordinator of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria in Gombe State, has praised Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for providing a platform for the RIFAN Special Project to effectively implement all of its programmes for the benefit of the citizenry.
Dr Abubakar Muhammad Sani thanked the governor when he led a group of members of the state chapter of the association on a courtesy visit to the governor. He did this to thank the governor for giving the association a level playing field so that it could carry out its project without conflict.
“On behalf of rice farmers, especially those who have benefited from the RIFAN Special Project, I’d like to take this chance to thank the Gombe State Government and His Excellency the Executive Governor for everything they’ve done to help us run our programs.
“We have encouraged the peaceful environment of Gombe State to carry out all programs, which was a result of collaborative work from the government and security stakeholders,” Dr Sani added.
The Governor, represented by his deputy, Dr Manasseh Daniel Jatau, appreciated the RIFAN Special Project Gombe State Chapter’s coming and reiterated the state government’s commitment towards programmes that will impact the people positively.
He also praised Dr Abubakar Muhammad Sani, who is also known as Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu, for the good work he does, especially the humanitarian work he does to make sure people with less money are able to help themselves.
Top government leaders, the heads of the Gombe State Chapter of the RIFAN Special Project and the Sarkin Shanu Foundation for Youth and Community Development, as well as rice farmers, will be there.
