Sprezzatura Publishing Company Ltd donates books to pupils

Sprezzatura Publishing Company Ltd on Monday visited and donated copies of the children book, “The Legend of Buratai” to pupils of Command Children School, Calabar, Cross River state.
While presenting the books to the school, the author of the book, Dr Abubakar Sani, enjoined the pupils to imbibe the virtues of diligence, excellence, perseverance and respect for their parents and the constituted authorities.
Dr Sani said his motive of writing the book is the erosion good values from Nigerian children by another value system.
He said, “Why did I write this book? It is because another value system is eroding our society young children like you are now trying to emulate another way of life different from our culture as a people.”

Eulogizing the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai (rtd) and using him as an example, Dr Sani charged the pupils to discover their passion and work towards actualizing such dream, stressing that good character is the ultimate of everything and not just acquiring education.
Meanwhile, the national coordinator of Fusion Nigeria, Sadiq Jikta, commended the teachers of the school for molding and raising the children, whom he described as the future of tomorrow, urging the children to study and understand content of the book and every other educational book that would shape their future for the best.
Similarly, the Women Leader of Fusion 196, Benita Edwin Usang, admonished the children to be generous and give the book to their friends and fellow children so they too could benefit from the rich contents of the book.
Responding, the head teacher of the school, who spoke on behalf of other teachers, thanked the author of the book, Dr Abubakar Sani, for the kind gesture of singling out their school from among hundreds of schools in Calabar Municipal Council for the donation.
