Unidentified gunmen shot man dead in Osun

Pandemonium broke when a 42-year-old member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Agboola, was shot by unknown gunmen at Ada, in Boripe local government area of Osun state.
According to information gathered by our Correspondent, the victim popularly known as ‘Agbo’ was said to be eating in his wife’s shop beside Royal Life Hotel, pako, Ada, when the incident happened.

“Agbo was eating in his wife’s shop when the assailants came and shot him.
“There was panic when we heard the gunshot and everybody ran away for safety.”
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Kehinde Adeleke, confirmed the incident.
She said the reason and identity of the killer(s) was yet to be unraveled but efforts are on to ensure the arrest of the assailants.
“The family members prevented security from taking the remains of the deceased to the hospital for autopsy test and he was buried around 08:30hrs Friday morning,” Adeleke said.
