Yobe wins the Presidential Int’l Trade Fair awards in Kaduna

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has been honoured with several awards at the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair.
The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KCCIMA) awards are for the state’s showcasing of economic and investment opportunities at the concluded international trade fair.
Presenting the awards on Monday in Kaduna, the Deputy President of KACCIMA, Alhaji Farouk Suleiman Farsman, stated, “I commend the governor for his commitment to hard work by providing an enabling environment for both local and international investors in the state.”
Buni’s demonstrated commitments, Farsman noted that the participants from the state have contributed significantly to the success of the trade fair.
Farsman continued, “In recognition of the state’s trade fair participation, Yobe receives the Presidential Commitment and Dedication awards,” as well as the leadership award for attracting more investors into the state.
The trade fair theme, “Promoting Efficiency in Manufacturing, Agriculture, and Trade through Digital Transformation,” was for the participating states in the country to provide an enabling environment for investors.
The KACCIMA President, therefore, declared Potiskum Local Council as the best exhibitor in agricultural products with an award for participation.
He added that the awards also demonstrated the state’s roles in trade, agriculture, and investment, stating that, “These are to reinforce transformations for economic growth and development of the state.
“Buni, represented by the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Tourism, and Solid Minerals, Kaigama Umar, thanked Farsman and President Bola Tinubu for honouring Buni at the trade fair with several awards.
