Following the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly (NASS), Mr Barbuwa J Kalla, the Secretary of Siyako Foundation has congratulated Distinguished Senator Anthony Siyako Yaro, who is representing Gombe South Senatorial District of Gombe State in the Red Chamber.
Kalla while congratulating Senator Yaro in an interview with our Correspondent on Sunday in Gombe said Gombe South was now well-represented at the Senate.
He stated that with the experience that the distinguished senator had garnered over the years, Gombe South had nothing to worry about as the senator would leverage his vast experience to bridge the gap between the people of the District and good governance.
He said that Senator Yaro who holds the title of Makaman Waja, Himan Kaltungo and Magajin Rafin Dadiya would not disappoint on his mandate to represent the people of Gombe South in a manner that would make the people proud as well as ensure inclusion.
“I am excited about distinguished senator’s victory and subsequent inauguration as a senator of the 10th National Assembly.
“We know that his philanthropic gesture and goodwill which had benefitted the youth, women and children in our district and beyond would be enhanced.
“His over 30 years of experience spanning the banking and financial services industry garnered from world-class institutions such as Fidelity Bank plc, the defunct FSB International Bank Plc, International Trust Bank, Inland Bank, the Continental Merchant Bank and the CEO Finex consultant Services
have made Senator Yaro an asset and a leader that will bring succor to his people.
Kalla said the margin of victory with which Senator Yaro won the seat at his first shot in politics, showed how confident and overwhelming the support-base of Senator Yaro is at the grassroots.
He advised the Senator to invest more in youth and women empowerment, job creation while promoting bills that would reflect the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Gombe South.
