2023: Adams Oshiomhole Defends Tinubu

Former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has said that the All Progressive Congress presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is not a part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime therefore he should not be blamed for anything that goes wrong in the current administration.
Oshiomhole, while speaking during an Interview on Arise TV said that it will be absurd to apportion blame to a man who didn’t hold any position in government or carry out any project on behalf of the government.

According to him ” Tinubu never held any position in government, he never executed any contract on behalf of the government, so why blame him?” he said
Speaking further, Oshiomhole admitted that Tinubu is one of the leaders in the party and that he also played a key role in making Buhari become the president yet, he insisted that he shouldn’t be blamed because he didn’t participate in Buhari’s government.
” You cannot say someone who never participated in government be blamed for what goes wrong in the government,” he said
