2023 Presidential Election: Why Rotimi Amaechi is the right person

As the 2023 general elections are fast approaching, the campaign has taken the centre stage. Most of the aspirants are as busy as the bees strategizing and rehearsing what to tell the unsuspecting masses to hoodwink them into giving voting for them. Worse still, some of these aspirants are political leeches who still shamelessly preen for recognition.
As Nigerians, this is the time to put personal interest or party affiliation aside and choose one who has truly shown that he has the interest of the masses at heart and who values the continual development and existence of Nigeria.
People like us who have the opportunity to be born and raised in River State are the only ones to give testimony to the good leadership style of Right Honourable ROTIMI AMAECHI during his time as Governor of River state.
Under his leadership, the Northerners were treated well and given opportunities in the state. No one northerner was killed or any masjid demolished under Amaechi’s watch.
We had access to good schools, hospitals, and healthcare centres and we were doing business in River State without fear of any killings or harassment from Ikwerre, Calabari, or Ijo man. River State was a safe place for all of us from the north.
It was owing to his love for the common poor northern man and the unity or oneness of Nigeria that made him give all his support to Muhammadu Buhari during his electioneering campaign.
River State has been a livable state for a Hausa man from kano to Maiduguri, from Katsina to Benue, from Kogi to Adamawa state, and from Gombe to Nasarawa State.
A detribalized Nigerian such as Amaechi who has wealth of experience in leadership and who has demonstrated an uncommon patriotism, and vision deserves to be given a chance to be president come 2023.
Nigerians must remember that the choices we make in 2023 can make or mar us. Therefore, there is a need to give the cap to whom it fits – Amaechi.
We as a group cannot sit back, we are going to do everything possible to see that Right Honourable ROTIMII comes out victorious.
We, therefore, call on our delegates to vote for Rotimi Amaechi for a better Nigeria.
