2023: The country will collapse, if Nigerians elect unqualified leaders – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday called on Nigerians to ensure they elect good leaders in the 2023 elections.
He warned if Nigerians make a mistake and elect unqualified leaders, the country may collapse.
Obasanjo made this statement as the chief guest at a meeting held in Lagos.
The former president stated that he hopes that if the right leaders are elected in 2023, then the country will see a lot of progress.

“If we elect good leaders in 2023 elections, we will definitely succeed. But if we elect unqualified leaders, then we will surely not succeed,” said Obasanjo.
From the beginning of his speech, Obasanjo explained that the country is not taking the necessary measures to fight poverty and insecurity.
