300 level FUTA student commits suicide
A 300 level student of the Federal University of Technology Àkúré, Olona Joseph Oluwapelumi, has committed sucide in his off campus lodge in the Aule area of Ondo state capital.
A student of industrial design it is believed he took his own life by hanging for reasons suspected to be connected to depression and financial incapability.

Investigation revealed that a friend of the deceased in the early hours of today went to his room and discovered it was locked and after several calls were made without response broke the door.
Upon gaining entry, his body was discovered hanging.
Popularly refered to as Black, some of his neighbours said Joseph was a playful person who never engaged in a fight with anyone.
