Aisha Yesufu blasts El-Rufai’s son for calling her a demented goat

Aisha Somtochukwu Yesufu, a well-known activist, has criticised Bashir El-Rufai, one of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-sons, Rufai’s for making a disparaging comment about her.
Bashir had remarked that Aisha dances like a ‘demented goat fully clothed in hijab’, while commenting to a tweet slamming Muslims who act ‘woke’ on social media.

In reaction to his tweet, Aisha made fun of Bashir by saying that her kid would rather be the offspring of a woman who dances while wearing a hijab than one who was blamed for his wife’s mental condition after he was discovered having a sexual relationship with her blood sister.
The 49-year-old is a businesswoman and activist from Nigeria. She was a co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls initiative, which raised awareness of Boko Haram’s kidnapping of over 200 girls from a secondary school in Chibok.
She has also played a significant role in the Nigerian Stop SARS movement against police abuse.
Aisha actively participated in the 2023 presidential election, spreading the word and supporting Peter Obi of the Liberation Party as the candidate.
