Al-Ansar University: NUC accredits five medical courses
The National University Commission (NUC) has accredited five medical courses at the Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, Borno state for the 2022/2023 academic session.
This was contained in the statement by the university’s Registrar, Malam Bukar Usman on Tuesday in Maiduguri, the state capital.
According to the statement, the university received approval from NUC to commence additional five medical courses in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and two in the College of Science, Information and Communication Technology.

The statement added that the approved courses were B.Sc Human Anatomy, B.Sc Human Physiology, B.NSC Nursing Science, B.MLS Medical Laboratory Science, B.Sc Public Health, B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Sc Biochemistry.
The statement urged interested candidates who scored 140 marks and above in the 2022 UTME to visit the JAMB office and change their institution of choice to Al-Ansar University and upload their results on the JAMB and university portals for admission.
According to the statement, the requirements for candidates in the various departments are five credits at SSCE including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry at not more than two sittings.
