Alex Ekubo drums support for Perter Obi

Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has endorsed Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for president, ahead of the election on February 25.
In a video posted online, the actor explained his choice and cited transparency, history, and character as justifications.
If elected president, the former governor of Anambra State, in his opinion, is the best person for the job and has the power to improve the nation.

For the general elections in February and March, he urged eligible voters to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) ready.
Alexx continued by saying that anyone who does not cast a ballot during an election forfeits their right to criticise the country’s bad governance and current circumstances.
He said, “If you don’t have your PVC, you are not just part of the problem, you are actually the problem. With the various candidates running for the office of this great nation, I have made my decision to vote based on transparency, precedent and character and Peter Obi is the man for the job.”
He went on to say, “It is important to voice out my stand because silence is consent. If you fail to vote, you forfeit your right to complain. I have carefully listened to Peter Obi.”
He added that “I strongly believe that with Peter Obi as president, together we will be able to eliminate the challenges we face as a nation.”
