Alia Explores Football Academy Possibility with Nigerian Football Star Moses Simon

Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has congratulated Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles for the outstanding performance at the recently concluded African Cup of Nations.
Fr Alia who had audience with Nigerian professional footballer Moses Simon, who currently plays for Ligue 1 club Nantes and the national team used the opportunity to discuss the potential establishment of a football academy in Benue State.
Governor Alia expressed his delight in meeting with Moses Simon and took the opportunity to commend the entire Super Eagles team for their remarkable performance at the African Cup of Nations. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the power of sports, particularly football, to not only nurture talent but also to foster unity and collaboration among the youth of the state.
