Amb. Buratai bags Leadership In Public Service Award

Former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), now Nigeria’s Ambassador to Benin Republic, Ambassador Tukur Yusuf Buratai is to be honoured with the Leadership In Public Service Award at the forthcoming 2022 City People Awards For Excellence.
This is contained in a notification letter addressed to Ambassador Buratai and signed by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of City People Magazine, Seye Kehinde.
According to the letter, the award is in appreciation of Buratai’s remarkable contributions to the military’s operational achievements during his tenure as the Chief of Army Staff.

The letter noted that Buratai’s efforts led to the unprecedented successes recorded in the counter-insurgency operations which is being credited to him even after he exited the office, adding that his efforts toward the improvement of troops’ welfare are also commendable.
The City People Awards for Excellence is an annual event organized by City People Magazine to reward and celebrate eminent Nigerians who have excelled in their various areas of endeavor.
This year’s edition will hold on Sunday, 30th October 2022 in Lagos.
