Bauchi federal lawmaker empowers 4000 constituents

The All Progressive Congress (APC) lawmaker representing Shira/Giade Federal Constituency Bauchi state in the house of representatives Kani Faggo has empowered not less that 4000 constituents with cash-grants and business start-up packs
Faggo made this known during the presentation of the empowerment materials to his constituents in Yana Shira Local government area of the state at the weekend.
He said empowerment materials worth N3600 cash grant has been distributed to the constituents in the constituency.
“The items distributed includes ,120 laptops ,cash grant of N60 million to 6,000 women and youth, 1,000 spaghetti processing machine, 200 water pumping machine.

“Others are 500 grinding machines, 500 sewing machines, 5 cars, 50 industrial sewing machines, 50 generators, 500 hundred bundles of roofing sheets and 200 motorcycles,” he said..
He pointed out that the empowerment program and construction of the ten kilometer road is part of his Development Projects for people of his Constituency to reap the dividend of democracy.
Faggo explained that in the recent past he provided employment opportunities to 100 youth,provision of water, construction of a ten kilometer road and ten trailers of empowerment materials.
He said the empowerment was aimed at reducing poverty among people, urged the beneficiaries to use the items judiciously.
In his remark, the State Chairman APC, Alhaji Babayo Aliyu Misau urged legislators to Mr Faggo in his developmental projects aimed at imparting positively on the lives of the people.
He solicited support from people of Shira to vote for APC in the forthcoming general elections.
Also Speaking, APC Gubernatorial Candidate Sadiq Abubakar called on people of Shira and the State at large to rally round APC in the forthcoming general elections.
Abubakar said if voted into power he will bring change in the system, revamp the education sector, saying our children are being short changed in the education sector.
“We will give the sector special consideration for repositioning in the state,” he said.
He urged people to always play the game according to the rules and urged youth to keep away any act that is capable of truncating their future.
Our Correspondent reports that also the Air Marshal event center was commissioned and inspecting a ten kilometer road held in Yana, the headquarters of Shira local Government Area of Bauchi.
