The commissioner warned that; “We can’t leave it like this for people to do whatever they like, while feeding the poor and vulnerable at Ramadan.”
He said the approved funds will be for the procurement of rice, cooking oil and condiments, including bottled water to break the daily fasting among the Muslim community.
On the capacity of feeding centres, the Commissioner of Information, Alhaji Abdullahi Bego, stated that a maximum of 200 people are expected to be fed in each of the designated centres..
He, therefore, urged the people to disregard the misinformation that Buni approved N100 million daily to feed people at Ramadan.
