Cameroonian arrested trying to illegally obtain Nigerian Passport
The FCT Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service has arrested a Cameroonian National, Mr Arcen Meducee, for trying to fraudulently obtain a Nigerian International Passport.
Mr Arcen Meducee (35 years) confessed to the crime and said he is Bamileke by tribe from Nde Province in Western Cameroon and needed the passport to enable him travel to Europe in search of Greener Pastures.
The Suspect who claimed to be a Furniture maker at the Kugbo Furniture Market Abuja said he had no knowledge that obtaining a Nigerian Passport as a Foreigner resident in Nigeria for long, is a Criminal Offence.

The Suspect has since been transferred to the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters for More investigation and possible Prosecution.
