The Unity Advocacy Group (UAG) has expressed its admiration for the Armed Forces of Nigeria, commending them for their relentless pressure on insurgents and bandits, resulting in their surrender to the troops.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, UAG attributed the frequent surrender of insurgents to the unwavering pressure exerted by the troops.
Convener of the group, Ifeanyi Aigbedion, in a statement conveyed his appreciation for the approach adopted by General Chris Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, in combating insurgency. Aigbedion stated that the situation was gradually improving.
The group highlighted the remarkable cohesion exhibited among the various military services under the exceptional leadership of General Chris Musa, which has yielded positive outcomes.
“The relentless pressure applied by our troops is yielding fruitful outcomes, as terrorists continue to surrender on a daily basis,” stated the UAG.
The group lauded the Armed Forces of Nigeria, led by General Chris Musa, for providing valuable guidance and direction. Furthermore, they urged criminals, terrorists, and bandits to reconsider their actions and choose peace for the greater good of the nation.
UAG further called upon Nigerians to stand firmly behind the Armed Forces of Nigeria, recognizing and appreciating their ongoing sacrifices for the sake of peace and stability.
