Christmas: Alia approves bumper package for Benue workers
…clears 7 months salary arrears.

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia has approved seven months payment of Salary arrears, owed to the Staff of Benue Investment property Company.
Governor Alia, consequently effected payment of end of the year package which is considered as 13 month salaries as well as four months allowances for the staffers of the company, saying these gesture is prompted by the yuletide season.
It could be recalled that since inception of democracy in 1999 Governor Alia is the first Governor to upset 13th arrears of a state Parastatal for purposes of magnimity.

This gesture withnessed tremendous jubilation as staffers were seen with smiling faces, a staff who spoke on condition of anonymity reiterated : This is sigh of relief.
A statement made available on Saturday in Makurdi, by the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Dr Raymond Asemakaha eulogised Governor Alia for timely intervention urging the staffers for dedication and prudence towards enhancng more progress.
He further stated with the confidence repose in him, pledged to do his best towards ensuring it is linked up on the global market suing for total commitment to achieve the desired target.
According to him, whom much is giving you, are expected to put in the best for optimal result imploring that all hands must be on deck to ensure the set goals are achieved.
