Customers urge NIPOST to intensify awareness campaign on services

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) customers in Bauchi state have call for an effective awareness campaign of it’s services in the state.
They made the call at the
at a customer forum in the state to commemorate the “World Post Day” celebrated annually on Oct. 9 on Saturday in Bauchi.

Mr Sulaiman Hamisu Customer said there is a need for NIPOST to embark on a vigorous awareness campaign of it’s services in the state.
“People are not aware of the services of NIPOST , they know the Post office but are not aware of the services rendered and the effectiveness of the services.
“So NIPOST should move from Pillar to post in awareness campaigns and showcase their services to the citizens,” He said.
Hamisu also commed NIPOST for effective and cheapest service provision to many agencies , we are so proud of NIPOST in service delivery,” he said.
Another Customer Mrs Zainab Abdullahi said many in the communities are not aware of NIPOST services.
“I want to inform you that most of the school children less than 18years don’t know much about NIPOST services.
“They have to step up awareness of their services and create jingles in radio and Television for citizens to be educated in the services,” she said .
Abdullahi appreciated the services of NIPOST and the effective services delivered to their Organizations and the citizens.
On her part, Mrs Jedidah Sambo the Zonal Manager, NIPOST, Bauchi
Said (NIPOST) has increased its domestic postage rate from N50 to N250 for effective service delivery in the country.
“We want to use the opportunity to inform our customers of the upward review of NIPOST domestic postage rate from N50 to N250.
“The review has been approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria for implementation,” Sambo said
She also informs the customers of NIPOST is a stakeholder in NIRSAL Micro finance Bank to provide financial inclusion to the larger populace.
Sambo explained that the forum was to avail NIPOST opportunity to appreciate a few faithful customers of their continued patronage of their services.
Also Speaking, Dr Ahmad Hassan, Register Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi urged citizens and corporate bodies to pay taxes
Hassan in his paper presentation, title harnessing the prospect of stamp duty said taxes are crucial because governments collect this money and use it to finance social projects.
“Without taxes, government contributions to the health sector would be impossible.
“Taxes go to funding health services such as social healthcare, medical research, social security, etc. he said
