Devastating Rainstorm Leaves 240 Homes in Kebbi State Ruined: Governor Comforts Victims

Severe weather conditions claimed the lives of over 240 homes in Garin Kestu Atuwo Ward of Shanga Local Government Area, Kebbi State, as the incessant rainfall on Tuesday night went on for hours.
The downpour wreaked havoc on the residents, destroying properties worth millions of Naira.
In this condolence message, Governor Nasir Idris commended the affected families for finding comfort in the notion that it was a divine act.
The Governor, through Alhaji Audu Dan Audu, Chairman of Shanga Local Government, thanked the victims for their patience. He acknowledged the extent of the damage but expressed relief that the incident claimed no lives.
While addressing the victims, Audu urged them to remain patient, emphasising that the state government would soon provide the building materials needed to help them rebuild their homes and resume normal life.
